THE POEM
I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For assignments would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Muslim duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer.
No time to speak of Allah to friends,
They’d laugh at me I’d fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands Allah held a book;
It was the book of life.
Allah looked into His book and said
“Your name I cannot find.”
I once was going to write it down…
But never found the time”
Masya Allah,this is a great reminder for me,for YOU …(”,)
All this long, sometimes we are acting like we are going to live in this world forever. We forget about the Day of
Judgment, and the Eternal World. That this world is temporary and everything is a test for us….
Love Allah,Remember Allah, Please Allah…

Astagfirullah… Takut nak bayang baris2 yang akhir tu… Menyibukkan diri dengan hal dunia… Lupa pada Allah sehingga Allah lupa pada kita… Huhu…
Pencarian ilmu tidak akan berakhir selagi ada umur dan memilikinya memberi kekuatan serta menerangi jalan… Dengan ilmu kita dapat menerangi jalan kehidupan tetapi ke mana kah kita ingin tuju??? Di situ lah wujudnya agama yang membawa kepada arah yang dituju dan memberi harapan serta dorongan pada jiwa… Maka, ilmu dan agama saling melengkapi dalam kehidupan kita sebagai manusia… Kita tahu akan hakikatnya tetapi kenapa kita lebih mempunyai tendency untuk mengabaikannya terutama bab agama??? Hmm… =(
